Suffolk County Parks Golf Course Rain Check Policy
Inclement Weather:
When the golf courses are closed by the parks due to inclement weather, rain checks will be issued upon request as follows
- An 18 hole rain check will be issued if a golfer has played 4 holes or less
- A 9 hole rain check will be issued if a golfer has completed between 5 holes and 13 holes.
Hazardous Conditions:
If play has been suspended due to hazardous conditions (storms, lightening) rain checks will be issued upon request according to the same criteria as inclement weather. A golfer may elect to wait to see if the course re-opens or request a rain check.
Golf Cart Rain Check:
The Golf Professional will issue golf cart rain checks according to the same criteria
Note: Rain checks will be issued for greens fees and cart fees only. Reservations fees are not refundable.
